BIG KID Carseat
For those of you who haven't seen him for a while, Stevie is a little larger than your average 6 month old. He's already 20 lbs and 28 inches long! This puts him in the 90th percentile for height and weight. Uncle Todd prophesied that Stevie was going to be a big boy and he was right! Tonight Angie and I spent about three hours trying to figure out how to put in his new BIG KID Carseat. We finally got it in and went out for a ride. It seemed to work out pretty well, but--as you can see--it almost looks like he's already too big for it! He's looking forward to his long roadtrip back to Illinois in his new seat.
Sunday Afternoon Fun

I can do it all by myself!
Me, Mar, and other fun stuff
My best friend Marilyn (aka "Mar" pronounced "Mair") came over for a visit! As you will see we had lots of fun together!
We both like to read books, well...at least stare at them.Me and Mar had a great time playing with each other, we did a lot of smiling and talking!
This is me playing in a box...please send toys. (just kidding)
I hung out in this box for a long time.
I like laying on my Dad on Sunday afternoons.
ps: Stevie has a couple of new words now! He says "Da da da da da da." and "goo goo goo!"

HAPPY TURKEY DAY!
I hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving! I know I did. I spent it with my Momma's side of the family. Let me introduce them to you. (from left) Uncle Dan, Aunt Sarah, Uncle Joe, Grandma D, Grandpa Leo, me, Momma, Aunt Sue, Daddy. The only downside of my Thanksgiving was that I'm pretty sick, but I'm getting better.
Here's a picture of me eating my first Sweet-Potatoes! MMMM-MMM-MMMMMM!

Christmas Music Lover
I mentioned in the previous post that Steve has been listening to a lot of Christmas music lately. When we put the music on he get's real excited and stares at the CD player with a big smile on his face, like in the picture below.
Our favorite Christmas CD is called "Holy Night" by the Chicago Jazz Mass Ensemble. We've been listening to it almost exclusively every Christmas for the past four years, we highly reccomend it. Cut and paste the link below if you are interested:

My Grandma D and Grandpa Leo
Here's a picture of me in my bath (check out my mowhawk!). I'm starting to get a little too big for it. That's My Grandma D holding me. My Grandma D and Grandpa Leo came out to visit me this week. We had so much fun together, I can't wait to see them again for Thanksgiving!

What is Stevie Saying?
A Very Brave Little Boy
Angie and I took Monday and Tuesday off and we went to Des Moines to meet Gram and Pap. Pap had an insurance conference at the Sheraton in Des Moines so we got a room right next to their's and we had a terrific time with them. Stevie really enjoyed seeing his Gram and Pap.
Something quite scary took place at the Hotel on Tuesday night. We were all asleep, it was probably around midnight and all of the sudden we were awoken by the building's fire alarms accompanied by a woman's voice saying "We have been notified of an emergency in the building please exit the building using the stairwells" or something of that nature. Let me tell you, it was LOUD! But Stevie wasn't even scared, he never cried or even fussed. Eventually we were told that someone had been smoking in the stairwell and that we were free to go back to our rooms. We put Stevie back into his bed and he fell right to sleep. We thought that it was all over, but in just about an hour the fire alarm went off again! We got Steve out of bed again and we went outside again, and still Stevie wasn't even scared!! After a few minutes they told us to go back to our rooms again and we put Stevie down in his bed again and he fell right to sleep AGAIN! We were so proud of our little trooper.
On my way to see Gram and Pap!
