Home Improvement

My Daddy and our neighbor David put in a new kitchen floor today and I supervised.

The finished product!
And Momma painted my bedroom BLUE!

Rambo Baby

As I'm sure you all know the new Rambo came out in theaters last night. In honor of this occasion I put together a little costume for Stevie, though, if I have anything to do with it he will never, ever see this movie. I (Tony) went out to see it last night and it was by a long-shot the most gory and gruesome movie I have ever seen. I mean absolutely disgusting and disturbing. Aside from the gore it was filmed really well and had a decent story line, and Stallone's performance was brilliant, as always.

ps: don't look to closely at what Stevie has wrapped around his head.

Stevie Baseball

When Stevie was born several different people told us that they thought "Steve Metz" was a good baseball name. I guess it had never occurred to us. Anyway I thought I would put a baseball uniform on him and see if he looks the part too.

All the kids are wearing their hats so low these days!

Maybe he could be a catcher...as you can see here he's giving signs to the pitcher.

Daddy, can we go to Wrigley? Please!
ps: Thanks for the great outfit uncle Josh and Aunt Miranda!

Stevie's BIG Vacation

EXTRA! EXTRA! Read all about my BIG vacation!

(Stevie is wearing his Great Grandpa Leonard's hat in this picture)

On Christmas day we left on Stevie's first BIG vacation. First we went to my Gram and Pap Metz's house in Forrest, IL, then to my Rockford, then back to Forrest, then to Canton Michigan, back to Rockford, and then finally back home to Iowa!

We hope these first two pictures don't get us in trouble...

Our only family picture from the whole trip!

Here's Stevie in the back of the van with all of our stuff during a rest stop on the way home. He was an awesome traveler. He spent 37 hours in his carseat throughout the trip and hardly even fussed! What a trooper!
